Praying God’s Name and Will for Israel

Twelve Stones of Remembrance were set as a memorial for the Israelites crossing the Jordan River on dry ground. Its purpose? To fulfill God’s will (Joshua 4:24): 1) to be a witness to Jews and Gentiles of the mighty hand of the LORD; 2) to cause the Jews to always have reverential fear of the LORD their God.

Today, enemies hurl stones to hurt and destroy. LORD, use these stones as reminders that Your name is God of the Impossible (implied in Genesis 18:14).
